After an exciting first month, we took February to sit back in order to watch how Chez Yankois would grow naturally. We've been pleased to see that it has been very active with only the energy of its members to propel it. Now we're recommitting ourselves and have some exciting announcements.

Community Spotlight
Continuing our commitment to support the Yankois community in our towns and homes as well as online, we've begun a program to draw attention to especially noteworthy events, organizations and people. Our Community Spotlight program will conduct interviews, publish profiles, share them without restriction to interested press, assist fund-raising initiatives and will, of course, have a clear presence on Chez Yankois.

Do you know something that's going on in the community that we should all know about? An event that's more noteworthy than most? An individual or organization that's taking the lead in promoting or preserving Franco-American culture? Let us know!

We want to make it as simple as possible for you to keep in touch with the friends you make and meet through Chez Yankois. So now, in addition to the groups, forums and messaging we've had, there's now a new chat bar across the bottom of your screen. With it you can see who's currently logged on, chat with everybody or start a private conversation with another member.
