The 35th French Cultural Center Bastille Day celebration returns to Marlborough Street for what promises to be the street party of the summer! This year’s line-up, programmed by World Music/CRASHarts, Inc., features two incredible francophone acts: Caravan Palace with their irresistible gypsy jazz electro-swing rhythms, and the high energy Tabou Combo, the “Ambassadors of Konpa”, Haiti’s national dance music.
Back Bay's beautiful Marlborough Street will be blocked off between Berkeley and Clarendon Streets to accommodate 2,000 revelers, dancing in the street.
French food and drinks will be available for sale from area restaurants including Brasserie JO, Sandrine’s, Sel de la Terre, the Waffle Cabin, Beehive and Petit Robert Bistro, making this the only street party of its kind in Boston.
The French Cultural Center Bastille Day will be a party in true French style with live music and dancing in celebration of freedom, community, cultural diversity, and the friendship between nations.
